Blockchain startup IndieSquare Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo; CEO: Yuta Hoshino) announces a collaboration with e-dash Co., Ltd., a Mitsui & Co. subsidiary based in Chiyoda, Tokyo that provides the e-dash cloud service for visualizing CO2 emissions. The companies have begun a proof of concept to tokenize carbon credits as NFTs and burn them on a blockchain to enable more transparent carbon offsetting.
